
Steep in the deeply restful and rejuvenating experience of iRest guided meditation accompanied by a soothing sound bath to assist in grounding your attention into the peaceful Ease of Being. We will begin with some time to discuss the practice and ways to set up the body for optimal comfort, and end with time for reflections on the practice. This is open to students of all abilities and levels.

Restorative Yoga Series:
Thursdays, 7-8 pm, June 15-29
Restorative yoga is highly effective to release long held tension in the body. During restorative yoga, the body is supported by blankets and other props to create an effortless posture in which the body can rest for longer periods of time. As each posture is settled into, muscles and connective tissue are able to open into new pathways.
During this three week series, we will focus on a different theme each week. You are encouraged to come each week, but this is also open to those who can only come to one or two of the sessions. This series is open to anyone who can get up and down from the floor- complete beginners to advanced yoga practitioners. All props will be provided, but if you have a favorite blanket or bolster you are welcome to bring it. A journal and pen might also be useful if you are a note taker. This series will include discussion as well as experiential practice.
